Sen. Beebe-Center earns score of 100% from Maine Women’s Lobby

AUGUSTA — Sen. Pinny Beebe-Center, D-Rockland, earned a perfect score from the Maine Women’s Lobby for votes during the second session of the 132nd Legislature. She also earned a 100% score for the 132nd Legislature as a whole.

“As chair of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, I know how important it is for survivors to have someone they trust to turn to,” said Sen. Beebe-Center. “This session, we sustained funding for the advocates who serve them, invested in childcare and supported access to family planning care. I’m proud to have earned a 100% score across the entirety of this Legislature and even though I will not be returning to the Legislature, I’ll keep working for the safety and independence of women and families across Knox County.”

Sen. Beebe-Center has been an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and health throughout her career in public service.
